Thanks for the words of encouragement Paul, I actually took a peek at your rendition which was sublime! Hopefully the repro has fixed the colour up a bit.

Hi Fred, yes the one next to it was with half the data, I wanted to see how more time made a difference to the quality. It came out more vibrant colourwise and perhaps sharper but that was due to inconsistent processing on my part.

I've now had another go at this one, tried my hand at manual gradient removal, played with the colours in LAB mode, a highlight and a high pass over the neb. I've got a feeling I've pushed the vibrancy a bit far but i'll find out tomorrow when I have a look on my work monitor
