Oh no, not *another* Helix?

Well I had to give it a go of course!

The Helix Nebula (NGC 7293). Planetary nebula in Aquarius. Images 1st Sept 2014.

90 minutes of 3 minute sub-exposures taken with AT65EDQ, IDAS LPF and Nikon D5100 at ISO800. Bias and flat corrected.

I've also attached a crop of the nebula which is stretched to the max. I'm just starting to get a hint of the first outer shell. Given that is taken from my backyard in near-urban Canberra I'm pretty chuffed with how much I'm picking up.
