Ngc 7090

I was looking for something a bit different - so I decided to image NGC 7090.

Its certainly a challenge - its dim at mag 10.5 and tiny. I've spent a fair bit off time on it and I think that it doesn't repay further investment.

This is about 5 hours Lum and 3 hours each of RGB. Lum is unbinned and RGB is binned x2 - all subs are 300 seconds.

I'm sure I can process this better. But I'm moving on to something a bit larger and better suited to my rig.

The one interesting feature of this field is the number of faint fuzzes. I saw a few and decided to use the Annotate Image script in PI. I've attached the annotated image - as you can see, there are plenty of PGC galaxies lurking around. I wasn't planning on posting a higher res image on my PBase site but if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll put it up.

Thanks for looking

Pete
