I am curious about the differing ISO's though. To me calibration would be overly troublesome if all you did was average combine the images. The dynamic range is not so great in this area to warrent masking is it?

I had taken two sets of images just in case I didn't get it right, one was 800 ISO and the other set was 1600 ISO. In the end I combined all of them Tony, but I think you're right this region does not have that big a range, like say M42, to need that.
