Not an Immigrant in Sight!
It's NW Tas, so not a lot of multi-cultural easily evident in the street except Very Old Men with Young Philappina wives, the occassional asian student, and a ship registered in a third-world country.
So I was saved from obscurity this month by a trip through the supermarket where the foreign foods all congregate in one aisle. That's multi-cultural food don't you know?
Don't you love how European and English foods have there own special place now?
(there is more than that really, but during this past month when I needed them badly, it seemed like they might have all gone back home for a holiday).
