Julian maybe right. Certainly worth the try of another clean or 2. It just seems strange that the problem only occurs at one end of the picture. A nozzle problem would, I think, be reflected throughout the print.
Interesting to note though that it is the printer with the recent driver update that is giving the trouble. Any chance of stepping back the driver?
