If you have ever cleaned these rollers in the past using alcohol then
it could be the cause of the problem.
The alcohol hardens the rubber, they should only be cleaned with
warm, mildly soapy, water.
Anyway, glad you got it going again, one less printer in the landfill.
I am still running an old HP LJ5 using the parallel port to ethernet
solution.
