The Advanced VX looks like it has a similar payload capacity as the HEQ5. This means that the NEQ6 would be step up from the Advanced VX.
Also, to be honest I would have serious doubts about the ability of either a HEQ5 or AVX to handle a 10inch scope (as you mentioned earlier in the thread). 8 inch is probably okay (just). Remember that for imaging you need to stay well within the payload rating to ensure smooth tracking and guiding.
