Any watch makers/tinkerers on board?
I had a new battery put in my Lorus watch at the local jewellers the other day and since then it just won't go, they obviously want me to buy a new watch!
It's a very inexpensive model I picked up on ebay for almost nothing a couple of years ago, but it's a real favourite, light, slim, very plain face, but most importantly it keeps very good time
Browsing the web I see that with Seiko watches it's possible to reset the watch movement in these circumstances, by connecting the positive terminal of the battery with a point on the watch movement.
I'm wondering if anyone can advise whether this possible with my Lorus watch movement shown in the attached pictures?
Any advice would be appreciated!
