Not really, it's been toooooo cold. and at least another 3 days of severe frosts to come...
Thanks Justin. I'm a wuss in the cold, but the camera likes it. It rarely frosts here in the tropics.

Now i am wondering how do you see comets. I've always wondered how to see them. Can someone explain how to see them or is it too hard too try and get them.

Kind regards,

Thanks Frosty. Well, comets are much like other DSO's except they move from night to night. You need a webpage or planetarium program to find them. Most of them are very faint. Best to try for the brighter ones mag 6 or brighter to start with.

The best webpages to look at are http://cometchasing.skyhound.com/

http://www.aerith.net/comet/future-s.html

And http://theskylive.com/

Good luck with the hunting. You need patience though.
