After the occultation earlier in the year for experimentation, I had planned to timelapse this event but my ac-dc converter blew up about an hour before kick off... great timing. I raced back home to grab a battery pack but it wasn't charged (I always run off mains). Anyway that meant me and the dob had to switch to manual control and no more timelapse. The event was clearish on ingress and cloudy on egress. Still very nice to watch and better conditions than earlier in the year.
12" 'goto' SW dob, canon 600d, cs6. and one iPhone thrown in for good measure.
I hope everyone got to witness it.
