NGC6559 and surrounds

Latest project out of Clayton Observatories - NGC6559 and the surrounding areas.

I found this area quite hard to control the black point. The dark dust lanes here are inky black but in some parts there is some luminance showing on that dust from the bright blue giants. Which makes for a fascinating object to image.

Total integration of this image is 13.8 hours. Subs for luminance and Ha were 30 minutes. Colour subs were 20 minutes. I suspect though given the aperture I should really have done 40 minutes on the lum and Ha.
