I recall your earlier post in which you mentioned having flexture problems on your previous mount. How did you arrive at that conclusion? Regardless, this mount is an improvement on your last one. Do you still have a 10" SCT? If the optics in that tube are sound, you should be able to get fine results with it using this IOptron.
I can't comment on Star2000 compatibility, but if IOptron supply an ASCOM driver then you should be able to use it with most applications. It's probably a good idea to check these things before deciding on a mount.
