The moon is slightly difficult to find because it is a narrow crescent.
It's about 37 degrees infront of the sun along the ecliptic (if you spread your hand fully open at arms length = 25 degrees, four fingers side by side at arms length = 10 degrees).
25+10=35 degrees.
