Getting closer to being able to take a picture but progress has been slow. But now thanks to Richard's recent posts in the DIY observatory i will likely get the absco pool pump cover 'observatory' http://www.simplysheds.com.au/garden...s-c-11_43.html which should free up time in setting up to fine tuning - fingers crossed i've only had the mount for a year. at this stage just a 600d, i have been considering a mono but with this weather i don't think i'd ever manage to finish a picture so am leaning back again toward the cds-600d.

cheers

Yep,

This winter has been full on!!
Hope you can get your setup under cover, certainly makes imaging a lot easier.
Planning on sliding roof or moveable shed?
Should be able to get some good images with a 12" Newt, some of the best images on this forum are from 12" scopes.

Cheers,

Justin.
