There's something wrong with your math...
17500 * 5 = 87500 mins
/ 60 = 1458.3 hours
/ 8 = 182.3 days.
Still sounds like a lot, but then the site has been going for 9 years.
So...
17500 members over 9 years averages out to ~5 registrations per day, at 5 mins(why would it take this long to scan, say, 2 to 10 lines?) per registration, that's only 25mins per day for just
one mod.... How many mods are there? 10 or so?
Doesn't seem impractical to me
