H, it's possible, as someone already mentioned, if you're leaving after dark park outside the main gate. Doing visual won't be a problem, there's always someone willing to offer some time through their scopes (e.g. Ron). Not sure of the cost, day passes are available, often there are unoccupied bunk spaces, it may even be possible to stay overnight if you have the time (or if Mrs H lets you.....
