Cheers for the feedback guys, nice to know the look I was after is also seen by other eyes
and while I tried my best t'is good to know the blending is mostly only noticable to the scrutinising pre warned eye too
..in the end can't work miracles I guess. Actually, I'm not a fan of normal unblended images you see where the progressive increased smoothing towards the outer regions of the field is obvious, so I was cognicent of that here too as best I could
