Doing it your way will only lead to ' buyer's regret ' . . . because going cheap will lead to ... poor colour balance / average contrast / inferior screen / low audio quality / less inputs / and usually a ' garden variety ' Brand.

I'd rather buy ' Top Shelf ' with good warranty on both Parts and Labour... then be happy with my purchase from day 1.

Sony and Samsung are both in the running .......
