NGC6397 - Blue Stragglers

NGC6397 is one of our closest globular clusters. Its a pretty interesting place in that its really dense with stars separated in light weeks rather than the light years between our Sun and its nearest neighbor. Every so often there are collisions and when they collide new blue stars are thought to form.
