Denkmeier I Binoviewers (Full Big Easy Kit) plus two 10mm (70') Explore Scientific eyepieces

Everything is in excellent condition and also includes CD Rom instructions, bolt cases and packaging box

This is the original Binoviewer kit which put Denkmeier on the map and in some ways this original bino is better than the later Denk II model (IMO).

These have full 26mm prisims but does not include the "powerswitch" however all adjustments in magnification akin to the power switch can nonetheless be acheived with the OCS parts included in this kit anyhow (see picture 3).

I had the opportunity to briefly undertake a side-by-side comparison between these Denk I's and Denk II binoviewers in my refractor with two very surprising results. First, I could not discern any difference in contrast/light through-put between the Denk I's & II's. Second, and most surprising - these Denk I's did not vignette the field of view when used with a pair of 24mm Panoptics - this is in contrast to the Denk IIs which did. I must note that this result was in my particular scope (an f5 refractor with an Everbrite diagonal) and may vary depending upon the specs of different scopes. However, the vignetting was plainly apparent in the Denk II's on my scope so this original Denk I was much better as far as I was concerned.

I am only selling this package to finance another purchase otherwise I wouldn't be parting with these bino.
