I wouldn't think so Ian, - they may well be worth more in a generation or two simply because of their history.
People are upset right now, but many of us have happily visited such as the Coloseum - built by an emperor that could be said to have inflicted similarly yukky things on equally innocent people.
And for the record, I'd be prepared to bet my nads that the paintings etc currently being hastily removed will find their way into the lofts and basements of the current councillors just in case they should become collectors pieces.
