IC2602 - Southern Pleaides

Someone on the forum mentioned that their favourite cluster was the Southern Pleiades. Up until now I haven't taken a decent image of it so last night thought I'd give it a shot with my new camera.

I thought I would be a bit artistic with it since my past photos of this were bland. So I increased the in-house camera saturation, all the way up! I also deliberately chose a higher ISO then necessary to bloat the stars and make them stand out. Then I did a midtone stretch in photoshop to bring out the background stars, but wanted to keep a dark background to give it a bit of punch. What I ended up with was this. I really like it and I don't care if no one else does lol.

SW ED100 at F7.2, Orion 0.8x reducer, 24 x 30 second subs at ISO 3200, Pentax K-5.
