I live in Brisbane and I've heard how cold it gets there in Stanthorpe brrrrrr. It'd be such an excellent area for observing/taking pics. There's a place close by there that I'm really keen to visit one day to do some observing- The Twinstar guest house and observatory where they cater for people with scopes
