A different and interesting look, Fred. I'm working on a bi-colour HaOIIIOIII version and also experimenting with some different ideas for a synthetic third colour but none of them have looked like that. Look forward to your completed version...

It's a bipolar emission nebula. The star at the centre, HD 148937, is believed to be at least a triple star system. It includes a short-lived, highly luminous O7 type star of about 40 solar masses. The material in the nebula was ejected from the poles of this star in several bursts beginning about 4,000 years ago.
