Celestron 5.5 inch Schmidt Camera kit

These cameras use a small curved 35mm film holder which is held inside with a magnetic clip. The Schmidt optical system is quite amazing, being very fast at f1.65 and also having a resolving power over 1200 lines per mm!! An internal invar cage holds the optical components in focus via very low thermal expansion. Some people have converted these to digital with a corrector lens. In good condition, some minor dust on corrector/mirror and holds collimation perfectly. Includes 3 film holders, a film roll holder, original case and manual. Also has brackets to piggy back on a Celestron 8.

Has been sitting in storage for over 10 years so it is time to move it on. Rather rare these days. $600 plus postage.
