Yes it's clear. But the synoptic chart shows 2 cold front blowing through tonight and the isobars real close for tonight meaning it's going to be a howling gale - 30 knots plus at Mt Boyce. It's about the worst possible night for a week.
Yes the swamp might give some protection, but the seeing will be shocking. I think there'll be more huddled around the stove than outside.
