This beautiful set of gear and worm produced by the legendary Ed Byers.
The set has had approximately 4 hours of work - I decommissioned the project it was meant for.
It is in superb condition with some minor loss of anodised surface in a few places .

359 tooth
11 5/16" wheel
2" inner ring
Here is a link to a recently closed ebay sale for virtually the same system as sold by Byers himself.
On the ebay site, he says of this drive:
"It is top-of-the-line -- you cannot buy a better drive. Five years ago this system sold for $2,450. I have it listed for $1,750".
That's approx AU$1860 + exchange costs + Shipping (which, I am told Byers does NOT ship to Australia.).
I am asking $1400 for the set.
