Astrophotography taken to new heights ...
... literally!

In today's APOD (14 Jun 2014), Alessandro Merga shows a good shot of the Sagittarius region and the centre of the Milky Way, taken from a 747 in mid-air, during a flight from New York to London.

Now that's dedication to the cause.
