I already had some bad luck.
I had to walk under two ladders and then a black cat raced across my path. As I approached my car I found a $50 note on the road. It was folded up into a tight square.
It just goes to prove that Friday 13th is bad luck because that $50 could have been a $100 on any other day.
True story, it actually happened.
