Jupiter is a front yard object for me and as you know, to much light there so I didnt bother, nup I had a lovely time looking south to zenith and all in between, saw a couple of good meteorites too, good time of the year for them, actually, from my position one of them looked like it headed straight for your house? Maybe I was wrong.
