The other thing to note is that I don't go to star parties. I used to, but, I honestly don't have it in me to tear down, reassemble, drift align, etc., anymore. So the cached mosaic stuff is a moot point.
If I do go to a dark sky night or star party, I think it will just be the Polarie, DSLR, wide angle lens and tripod.
