Pipe Nebula

A single 3 minute exposure of the Pipe Nebula, using EOS 60D on iOptron Skytracker, f/3.2, ISO 2000. Processed in Digital Photo Professional. Taken from near Lithgow. Polar alignment was good that night!

I wasn't too sure about the colour balance in the image - many of the stars in the background are the reddish bulge stars of the Milky Way, but it's tricky to get them the right kind of reddish - neither too orange or worse magenta. My first attempt at processing this photo was almost horribly orange, but this might be too cold/unsaturated. Colour temperature (white balance) is 4800K and saturation is pushed a little from there. Any thoughts?

And yes, I'd like to stack a pile of these one day...
