My guess is that your primary is out of collimation. I only use a Takahashi collimation scope (requires centre spotting of the secondary) for alignment of both mirrors. I tried a glatter laser collimator and it guves very inaccurate results. Once you get the primary sorted then you can do a star test to finalise the secondary.

I suggest you centre spot your secondary. I note the 8 inch I have here is not centre spotted either but the collimation on that is very good.
