My First Planet
Finally got a chance to play with my New Celestron NexImage 5 SS Video Camera. The Atmosphere was not very good tonight. Buckets of dew as well.
The Camera was mounted directly on a Baader Hyperion 10mm Eyepiece with a 45mm spacer. Meade SC8. This made the image the size it is. It has not been cropped or blown up.
I don't know much about processing Planets so I am sure this can be improved heaps. But for my first Planet I guess it's ok. It turned the rings slightly blue when I did a Colour balance but it also brought out the bands better on the planet so I left it this way.
Processed in Registax. 100 Frames at 640x480
