On the way home from my holiday I stopped by Avalon airport to check it out because I haven't seen it since Jetstar moved in.
The moon was just coming up and through my binocs it looked like something out of a sci fi painting. Thin cloud streaking across it, a very yellow hue and good contrast on the craters.
Then I rushed home to see the occultation.
