Bug Nebula with eye piece projection.

Hi,

Always wanted to image NGC6302 the Bug Nebula.

Not an easy task with eye piece projection, not the best image but worth it just to see if it was possible.

I used a 15mm 63 deg apparent field swan eye piece for projection, so I'm posting a cropped version.
The stars on the outer edge are terrible.

This is the first time I've used ISO 6400, really needed it to get any detail in the nebula, very faint using projection.

8” F/4 astrograph , HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.

20 x 3 minute subs ISO 6400 . Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop 7 .

Cheers,

Justin.
