Track and trail images of Comet 209P/LINEAR as it flies by at a great rate of knots. 54 x 25 second subs at ISO 3200, ED100 at F7.2, Pentax K-x. Closest approach is on Thursday at a distance of about 0.055 AU.

It's quite faint. Comparing to nearby stars it looks to be around magnitude 14, although The Sky Live puts it at mag 10.4. As usual, comets often appear fainter than they actually are.
