Dave, check your Starry Nights agains Jupiter 2. It looks like yours is like mine. About an 45 min out, showing the transit early at 21:00.

Transit on that night was at 21:42 according to J2 and 21:44 by CalSky. I don't know if there is anyway to adjust SN to fix the problem, I've looked but haven't found anything.

Check SN for tonight and see if yours says around 6:30. If so then it's the same as mine. Meridian transit tonight is around 19:13, 45 min later.

Sorry a bit off topic, but thought it important if people are judging their Meridan transits by SN. If I'm out and it looks like you are out as well, I'll bet we aren't the only ones.
