I'm really pleased with this galaxy image!
I usually have all sorts of difficulties processing these beasties, seem to loose a lot of detail.
Manage to keep quite a lot of detail on this one, happy with the colour too.
Stars still need a bit of work.
Sky was really transparent and steady, which helped .
Wasn't using the cooler box so it's a little noisy.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type coma corrector, HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.
12 x 5 minute subs ISO 1600 . Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop 7 .
