Moon Closeups - Coperrnicus, Plato, Bullialdus, Aristarchus, Gassendi & Highlands

Hi everyone,

Earlier in the week when I imaged Saturn, I went on a bit of a photo spree on the moon to really try out the 120mm camera as the conditions were good - by the time I got on the moon conditions were not as good as for my Saturn shot but still very good.

One of the things that I really like about this camera is the 1280x960 sensor to get nice wide shots - the compromise is that the FPS which came in at around 24fps with a 12.5" f/5, 5 x Powermate and IR685 filter and a new laptop.

Typically for these images, I shot 10,000 frames and stacked 2,000 processed in Registax and using mild deconvolution in CS3.
