Mars from Sydney, May 13th

Lucky for some

We had some decent seeing in Sydney last night, Skippy Sky had forecasted a band of '8' over the area so I setup for some visual and captured a few sequences along the way had a great visual session with lots of detail showing.

C11 Edge HD, EQ6, Powermate 2.5x
QHY5L-ii colour, 320x240 ~50fps

This stack was the result of 10% of 10000 frames. I haven't really settled on the colour situation, this is straight out of Registax where RGB Balance->Auto Balance has been applied. The view at the eyepiece seemed a touch more orangey-red than this. Any thoughts?

It's interesting to see the changing face of Mars...this side showing Syrtis Major much more clearly than my previous captures, and also showing Utopia and clouds over Elysium.
