This 4 element eyepiece design is superior to the Plossl for lunar and planetary study in particular. Finish is Black anodized machined Aluminum, threaded for filter attachment. Fully multi coated with rubber eye cup.
This would be a great upgrade if you have a set of Possol eyepieces that typically come with most scopes and are looking for tack sharp views to edge of field, without the big money for Televiews and the like.
Manufactured by Kson Optics & is identical to Orthos supplied by University Optics !
I have used this for planetary work and there is a distinct improvement from your average Possol.
