I nearly brought a 1200D the other day but pulled out at the last minute, going on specs the 1100D is still probably better or at least just as good.
I think though I would choose the 650D or 600D, probably the 600D purely on price.
For me the cameras are much of a muchness not being seriously into the hardware side of things I figure either one would be good no matter what.
The only thing that is important to me is it must have sensor cleaning.
