I picked up my bluetooth adapter and cable earlier today. I've given it a shed test from two devices and driving both a HEQ5Pro and a Skywatcher 10" motorised Dob. Both connected and drove the scope easily. I've used both an early 10" Wi-fi Galaxy tablet and a Jiayu G4 phone to control each mount.
I'd sorted out bluetooth for eq-mod sometime back but wanted options for a simpler setup (no laptop) for sessions when I didn't want to set up table, laptop etc, also I was looking for a way to control the Dob from a tablet or phone.
I've also done a test with my Canon 550D connected to the tablet (via USB) at the same time as I connect to the Synscan. I'm using DSLR Controller on the tablet.
Switching from DSLR Controller to SkySafari Pro disconnects the camera (but it reconnects quickly enough when I switch back). SkySafari Pro holds it's connection. Eg it looks viable to use the tablet to do some imaging work (although I don't think I can use my guider without a PC).
