I enjoy these posts very much. I spend so much time observing the clouds and very happy to find such high interest here.
Robert I live on 200 ac dark site with no towns until approx 100 klms south. Before I moved here I was a slave to my business and society. I can highly recomend the solitude of being a hermit with out radio etc so one can truely indulge a total quest for knowledge and observing. After some time you find you can read head lines on a moonless night and your visssion sharpens to unimaginable level. One can really spend time to think..days on end can be devoted to a single interest without concern for bills people or news. It is worth more than I can describe but my point is...do it. I read all your work and feel you would benefit past anything you could imagine. Just my thoughts.
