Doesnt matter who it is, they are all spending too much.
One side just spends and says "hey, we can live with the debt"
the other spends and then sells the family silver to cover the shortfall.
Net result is an overall loss of value somewhere
If we have a negative trade balance, isnt it all moot???
as money is leaving the country and the ( relative ) tax pie is getting smaller.

for the total country debt, vs "govt" debt.
