Hi Peter,
I agree Peter, however, that isn't a great solution when travelling, as I don't take my computer with me, mostly for security reasons. Having a stand alone back up solution, that doesn't require a computer or other digital device, is much better when travelling, in my opinion.
I travel with four 32Gb cards anyway, and I shoot both RAW, Jpeg and movies, so these cards fill quickly. Besides, you can never have too much storage or enough back ups.
Just buying more cards isn't, necessarily, a solution, as I have a number of obsolete cards in my draw, as it is. The size of cards keeps changing, as in my current DSLR camera which uses SD cards, whereas, the new camera I am looking at uses Micro SD.
