That sort of thing was popular about 6-10 years ago, now you rarely see these devices mentioned in photography forums and blogs. Buy more large cards and backup to a laptop and external USB drive seems to be a more common method these days. I use an ultrabook and a 2.5" external USB drive for a second copy when I'm on the road.
