Hi Ving The Running Man Nebula is not far from M42, it's a blue nebula with dark areas that seem to suggest a man running on Andys redo the mans front leg is near the bottom bright star on the left his head is to the left of the star upper right corner.
Everybody do as Vermin says and calibrate your monitors :-))
Seriousley though this is a shame most people can't see what I am seeing on my laptop this is the best Nebula shot I have ever taken.
Andy's redo is close to what I see, but the blues are softer in the original
I will work on the image to see if I can make it more viewable by others.
